Definately not.

Jesus would have never died. He was perfect, without sin. He would still be here on Earth. He had to die for mankind so as to give up his life as a ransom for all mankind. "THE Son of man came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and to give his soul a ransom in exchange for many". Jesus Christ told his apostles. (Matthew 20:28) To the Roman governor Pontius Pilate, he said: "For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth." (John 18:37). Jesus knew exactly why he would die and what work he needed to do before his death. There was no other way to buy mankind back from sin. Christ could not take his literal blood into heaven. (1 Corinthians 15:50) Rather, he took what that blood symbolized: the legal value of his sacrificed perfect human life. Before the person of God, he could make formal presentation of that life as a ransom in exchange for sinful mankind. Jehovah's acceptance of that sacrifice became evident at Pentecost 33 C.E., when the holy spirit came upon 120 disciples in Jerusalem. see (Acts 2:1-4) Christ, as it were, now owned the human race by purchase. (Galatians 3:13; 4:5; 2 Peter 2:1) Once that was accomplished, ransom benefits could flow to mankind.

No. Jesus would not have died like that anyway unless He wanted to. He was without sin and thus, did not have to suffer its penalty unless He chose to, which He did. He also had to bled. His blood was sinless and perfect and the only thing that could wash our sins away. The Bible teaches us in the Book of Hebrews that without the shedding of blood there is no remission. So, it was not enough for Him to just die, but He had to bled and die as well. Also, He was killed on a cross for a reason. Christ, the innocent, died in the place of us, the guilty. The cross was a cursed symbol that symbolized death and a curse. Just as the Bible says "cursed by any man that hangeth upon a tree". Christ became a curse for us. Cruxifiction was a criminal's death and those that were cruxified were looked down on as death-deserving criminals. Christ was perfectly innocent, yet died the death that we sinners justly deserved to save us from the penalty for sin. He also conquered death 3 days later by raising Himself from the dead to be our Saviour. I hope that this is helpful. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!

I don't think so. Dying on the Cross was a voluntary act. Old age happens whether we like it or not. And if He had elected to age and die, it would have ignored the foreshadowing that had been set in place. No point in that! In fact, it would reveal an inconsistent god who didn't know what he was doing in the first place.

Good question really. What if the body of Jesus was discovered? And found he had died 5 or more years after being crucified? Or if there were remaining DNA would scientists or Christians clone him? And I suppose that might prove the existence of god as his DNA would contain half the DNA from a non human source.

I BELIEVE JESUS DIED OF OLD AGE, THAT HE WAS HUMAN AND THAT HE WAS AFRAID JUST LIKE ALL OF US WHEN HE WAS CONFRONTED. WE ARE ALL GODS CHILDREN, JESUS WAS A GREAT MAN, MORE LIKE A WIZE MAN WHO WAS ABLE TO PREDICT THE FUTURE. JESUS WAS HUMAN NOT GOD, BUT WAS GODS MESSENGER

Well, let's see now....Jesus died around the age of 32, after performing acts with extreme depths of compassion that few of us have ever managed to reach (not that we can't, mind you. It's just too much effort). Had he lived to a ripe old age, he would likely have continued on that same course. Years of compassion, versus giving up his life. Either way, that puts him squarely in the plus column from where I'm sitting. Humanity wins! How many people can say that about their life when thiers is over? +5

One of the purposes of the cross was to fulfill scriptures, so we can ask 'what if' all day, but what happened was told a lomg time before it did.

who told you that Jesus died becoz of his old age??? is there any proof? Jesus told 'I"M THE WAY, LIFE AND TRUTH. KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH WILL SET U FREE. if u r the sheep of Him, u will surely hear ur sheperd's voice, go through the gospels of NEW TESTAMENT, mathew, Mark, Luke and John, u will get answer for all these things and u will find that he was taken awy to heaven by angels after 40days with his disciples. one who trusts this by faith will be saved, n will be judged by LORD JESUS who is going to come as a king and no one deny that time my brother and sister. KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS NEAR, SO REPENT. and accept your xaviour who has come for ur sins, ddont crucify him again and again by such unfaithful doubts. if u realyy wanted to know the truth, u should go n ask GOD, God please reveal yourself to me, teach me your ways, n GoD sees ur heart, if u r really desperate for HIM, He will give you wisdom to know HIM, n u will bring glory glory to HIS name. surely do reply me, if THE SPIRIT of GOD teaches me to answer u, i will do that for u my dear. and one thing is sure, JESUS LOVES YOU TOO, GO TO HIM, GIVE UR LIFE TO HIM, HE WILL DO MIRACLES IN UR LIFE, HE WILL GIVE U A NEW LIFE, WHERE NOONE CAN GIVE. infurther days, if its the God's will, i will give testimony of my life, HOW i WAS TOUCHED BY HIM, HOW HE IS LEADING ME NOW..................

Lets go back in time with many guns. Lets kill all the Jews and Roman threatening his life, and see what happens.
-
Had it been GOD's divine plan and purpose that Jesus Christ die of old age - rather than on the cross - He would still have borne the burden of mankind's sin.
-
With God, all things are possible.

The entire concept of anyone dying for the sins of another is ludicrous. +5

It would of never happened because it was Gods Will for Jesus to die on the cross. So the question is irrelevant because there is no answer to the question.
-
I wouldn't see why not..although, man's struggle with power, control, and materialism was not going to allow a message like that of the "Christ" go on without being threatened by it. The Pharisees and Ceasars Roman Empire would never have allowed Christ to live a long life. It was destined that the Crucifixion would happen.
-
Christ could not die without willingly allowing it. Age is in no need of forgiveness.
