So there is no division between Shia and Sunni Muslims?

I don't think Christians are proud of their divisions. That is why they always have talks trying to reduce the differences. And it has worked in many places. I am from Australia and Christians here have largely given up the fights. Catholics and Protestants are still separated, but the worst is over. Amongst the PRotestants, there is a lot of working together. My husband is an Anglican pastor, working at the moment in the Uniting Church. His senior pastor is a Pentecostal, and the other pastors are Methodist, Congregational and Brethren (I think). BTw, my husband was once Catholic! I think that, sadly, divisions are inevitable amongst sinful people. People think of themselves and not of Christ and his commands. We pray that this will heal as people read the Holy Bible more and more. But I don't think this is only a fault of Christians-it is a human fault. Sunni and Shia Muslims kill each other in the Middle East, and both oppose the Ahhmaddiya and the Druze. Hindus are divided by caste, and treat each other badly. They will not enter each other's houses, some will even wash themselves if the shadow of a lower caste falls upon them. But, you are correct, Christ teaches us to behave better than this.
