Yes.............The one that I'm with has shown her true colors. Although I enjoy being with her...I have had the realization that she isn't the one for me.

Yes it is, everyone grows and changes through their lives and if the two of you grow and change in different directions you can one day find you no longer have anything in common.

Absolutely..that's why people get divorced sometimes. You're young, you're in love and the two of you have big plans for the future..ten years later, she's gotten a college degree and has a promising career and he's happy spending his time with the guys, doing the same old thing as they've always done..their paths are now different..their goals are different..it takes different things to make them happy. So they've grown out of what they used to have into something else! :(

People grow at different rates, like plants. What seemed to meet your needs at one stage of life is out of kilter at another. If one of the partners pursues a separate, new interest then their paths will often diverge as they have less in common.
