  • Blowing a fuse means that the circuit is using too much current. Usually in automotive realm a "Short Circuit" is where the Power Wire is touching a "Ground" somewhere & not getting back to the "Lights". This could be at the Light Switch. Unplug it & then put a new fuse in. Does the Fuse Blow? No? Use a test lamp & find the "Hot Wire" in the Light Switch Plug by hooking one end to a Ground & then use the other "Probe End" to locate it ( should be thick heavy wire). Now switch the "Ground Lead" to the Power & start "Probing" the plug & see if the lights come on or if at one terminal it pops the fuse. That would be the "Problem" Grounded Wire. If everything works, Switch may be bad. Do U have a "Towing Plug" in back??? Check it. John
  • Short circuit!! Check the wires!!! It could also be that the fuse is to light!! How much ampere is the fuse? You need the right ampere!
