Blowing a fuse means that the circuit is using too much current. Usually in automotive realm a "Short Circuit" is where the Power Wire is touching a "Ground" somewhere & not getting back to the "Lights". This could be at the Light Switch. Unplug it & then put a new fuse in. Does the Fuse Blow? No? Use a test lamp & find the "Hot Wire" in the Light Switch Plug by hooking one end to a Ground & then use the other "Probe End" to locate it ( should be thick heavy wire). Now switch the "Ground Lead" to the Power & start "Probing" the plug & see if the lights come on or if at one terminal it pops the fuse. That would be the "Problem" Grounded Wire. If everything works, Switch may be bad. Do U have a "Towing Plug" in back??? Check it. John

Short circuit!! Check the wires!!! It could also be that the fuse is to light!! How much ampere is the fuse? You need the right ampere!
