Have you read Sun-Tzu's 'The Art of War'? If yes, for what purpose, and how has it affected you?

I own several copies. I read them originally out of nerdy interest, then realized that the lessons in it work as well in business and battle, as they do in relationships.

Yes, I read it last year and I now own a copy. I chose to read it initially because I am a martial artist. It has had an effect on my life, I feel much more aware, both of others and myself, for one thing.

I have read it twice and my favorite part was something along the lines of: "If it is not advantageous to attack, then don't. If its not advantageous to retreat, then don't." To me, it is saying to learn to think around corners.
