I have to say: Every single time I have injured myself, or got into trouble - I was thinking. So yes. Thank goodness I now have this fat, slow body that talks back... It says "I wouldn't do that s#i+ if I were you"... So I don't anymore.

There's no harm in listening to anything (unless of course it's so loud that it damages you hearing, but that's another matter...) However, there is harm in blindly obeying anything, including your own thoughts, without applying some critical thought to it first. In other words, listening to your thoughts is harmless, as long as you really think about it.

It is dangerous to listen to your thoughts and act according to impulse. But if thoughts are rationalized there is no danger at all. Experience is very important. Regards.
