Not really.

What is it MB???

Not at all. Yuck! I've tried it several ways and nope, don't want to try again, thank you.

Poi is sort of a starchy paste made from the taro root--I'm not a fan of straight poi, but here in Hawaii it's sometimes added to bread dough or made into chips, and it can actually be quite tasty--if you can convince yourself to try purple-colored bread ;): http://www.polynesia.com/recipes/taro-rolls.html

No, but i'm not so fond of plain grits either.

Uggh! No! I gave it a few good tries the couple times I've been to Hawaii. Even when they tried to add some "flavor" to it....it was still like eating paste. But, if giving the choice of poi or brussel sprouts, I'll pick poi!

I tried it when I was in Hawaii. I decided it must be an acquired taste. One that I definitely don’t have. :-p
