Final Fantasy VI. I love that entire Victorian era architecture it went for, plus paying the rent by slaying wildlife? XD

- Riven was difficult in parts. So many puzzles to figure out just right, so many clues, lots of places to wander. It was terrific!!! I'm a long time gamer, especially adventure, or role-playing without too much hacking up bad guys. I loved Syberia, too, not a difficult game but a beautiful one. I started out with the old text-based games like Zork lol!

  Don't think I've ever heard of Zork though.. I tried a text based game once though, but the commands confused the hell out of me, so even though I like old games, I haven't looked that far back since then ;)

- cool :). Well, I'm not old enough to have played the really old titles, the first games I played for a while and did actually have some understanding of was probably Diablo (the first one) and Warcraft II (although I didn't understand a single English word back then). I first discovered Myst Exile, then the remade Myst, then Myst Revelation and Myst End of Ages (which was a violation to the series and sooo sad to play, because there was hardly none of the elements I loved from the other games - the environments, the ambience, the graphics, the use of live actors, the characters, and especially the story line). Riven was the last game I bought, as it took me YEARS to find a copy and then another few months to find a way to make it run smoothly on my computer.
  After that, I didn't want to rush through it :)

- End of Ages was horrible and I never bothered to finish it. It just never felt right. Hated the perspective it had. Everything I liked in Myst was gone. I just finished Revelation last year after having to restart it on a new computer since going through an old PC meltdown lol! Have you read the books about Myst? Those added so much to my understanding and enjoyment of the worlds. I'm amazed at the thought and care that went into the development to this game.

- I have the Life Stories one, they gave it to me for free to test out. It's really cool, you get really close up zooming and they age!!! My family also adopted a baby, and the baby was black (they were not) I was so excited! (Plus my girl Sim is very gassy and she farts if she has pizza. lol

- I'd have to recommend my favorite, Myst. Very interesting new worlds, mostly lovely surroundings, not scary! But really beautiful to look at, lovely music, puzzles or mysteries abound, history of the people, new languages. I recommend it highly:-)

- Oh, Keith reminded me of an even better one for you called Syberia. It's a wonderful story you walk into. It's very old fashioned setting like Old Europe and Russia, glass train stations, antique automaton toys.   I'd say this is Keith's favorite place to be in a game. There's no danger it's all just clues leading you through an interesting story using a lady reporter:-)

Either Castlevania or Star Ocean: The Second Story, In either games I'd be one of the main characters though... :P

- Well you wouldn't want to be in a game like GTA I'm sure, the best video game world to be in would always be an RPG, some kind of grand plan to destroy the world from the villain side and you have to stop him somehow... That's the cool part where you get all the glory of living through the different story where you have to deal with different other characters and so on...

The Kingdom Hearts series. I'd be a tall and buff guy with long silver hair and a buster sword like (but bigger than) Cloud Strife's sword. (I would, take my avatar's name). I'd also have a super-tricked-out Gummi Ship.

Oblivion. It's a really cool game, and you can do anything, go anywhere. And you can level up after you sleep.
