Beta fish are cool... and they're pretty and really easy to take care of, so that's a bonus. :-)

We had one and it thought it was a dog. it would swim towards the door when we got home, and swim in circles when you got close to him. He would also just stare at you when he was hungry.

I think they are neat looking, but I am always tempted to put them together and watch them fight!

Well they are great fish for beginners because they are very hardy and don't require much attention.
