I sure would, easy come easy go!
-
Probably not. ;)
-
I don't ask many questions so I would be willing to part with a few.
-
sure. i don't usually ask many questions anyways.
-
It might make it even more fun!
-
not costing me anything other than points? absolutely! cost me money on the other hand, forget it!
-
Yes, I don't usually ask many and just when I want to know a few things. Keeping your points doesn't get you anything.
-
On Yahoo Answers, users actually lose five points each time they post a question. When I was there, I still posted questions despite the loss of points. So yeah, I would still ask questions even if I had to spend some points. Questions make websites like YA and AB alive and kicking.

That's an interesting question. If using points to ask questions was implemented there'd finally be a use for point sand it might eliminate some of the silly questions. I'm all for it.
-
Sure... not sure why a Q&A site would make you spend points to ask questions though. Would you answer questions if you had to spend your points?
-
Hehe, of course : P Points are just numbers; they are utterly meaningless to me... If I wanted to see large numbers next to my name, I would just open notepad and write "Twhupfold - 1'000'000 points", then close it and be satisfied for the day... As it stands, however, the only thing points do for me is measure how much people like my questions and answers at the time they rate it - if I receive negative ratings I take it to mean something was wrong with what I said, if I receive positive ratings then I take it to mean something I said was good. Immediately after seeing the rating and judging my question / answer accordingly, the points cease to be of any value to me.

sure... they don't mean anything anyway. :-)
