i am gay myself and i would never call another gay person a Fag or anything that i would find offensive. I think it is wrong to have a double standard. Either it is wrong the whole way around or it is ok the whole way around.

In my opinion (Note: My OPINION. Mine.), no. That word has been used for such hateful purposes that it has way too much baggage to be "reclaimed." A lot of my friends and I wince when the word is even mentioned, except in the British cancer-sticks usage. :o)

I wouldn't. It just wouldn't be polite for anyone to use such slang towards anyone in my opinion. But if someone ever called me that on the street, I'd tell them, "sorry, I don't smoke, but thanks for asking."
