I have a court date for genetic testing if he doesn't show up I was wondering what was going to happen i'll know for sure on my court date
I am not sure, on that.
I had the same issue. He didn't show, and the paperwork he was sent stated clearly that if he fails to show or provide DNA for testing, then he becomes the imputed father...meaning, he didn't prove otherwise, so the court assumes he is, because they gave him a chance to prove he isn't and he failed to show. After that, they can and will issue child support. My ex never showed up for one court date, and child support was still issued, but there were never any warrants.
