No I have not and no situation ever presented itself to me where the need to protect either myself or my family ever (thankfully) presented itself.

No. I know two people who have killed other human beings. One was an act of self defense, and the other was an accidental shooting (he accidentally shot and killed his own son). Believe me, it is nothing to joke about or make light of.

Nearly. I have hit someone in his temple, he was knocked out cold and was touch and go for a while but he pulled through. The reason was self defence while working as security on a night club door. I have seen a few people killed though, one person was stabbed right infront of me when I was in my very early teens while I was walking our dog in the local park. I was sitting on a friends front porch wall and someone came driving past and shot one of my friends right through the head! We later found out that was drug related and his father was sentenced to 28 years in prison for smuggling heroin worth 28 million pounds!

Yes. Accidently. They ran the stop sign through a blind intersection and I had no chance to react.

I have had to kill two people in combat. It is not a good thing. When people ask questions like this they usually have never had to. Turn off the video game, it's not like that.
