A pointilism picture. Easy stuff. Takes alot of talent. And patience. ~+~
-
Anything you want. I think it's called pointillism.

Many artist use the "dot" as a form of medium for their work. The next time you look at the funnies in the paper, look real close, they are nothing but dots.

This one:

Absolutely anything. Seurat ring a bell?
-
Pointillism gives texture to a drawing. It's across the board shading that can be increased (closer dots) or decreased (looser dots). Takes hours to do therefore you need a lot of patience.
-
Pretty much any
-
Anything at all. Ever used a magnifying glass on a newspaper picture or an inkjet or laser printout? Look up halftoning or dithering.
-
Pretty much anything! You have to experiment with it like putting some really close to eachother can add detail to the drawing
-
any picture you want. the amount of dots and how far apart they are spaced out will create different values.
-
Although it takes a lot of time and patience, you can make imaginative creations with stippling. I'd start small unless you plan to work on it for years.
-
there is a tecniqu known as stippling, in which pictures are made by spacing dots accordingly. For instance: if the artist wants something to look very dark,he or she would put the dots very close together. if the artist wants something to look very light he or shewould space the dots far apart. this technique is often used for making monochromatic color schemed pictures.

There is a type of art called Pointillism in which various colored dots are used to create pictures. We did this in high school art class, it was fun. Here is a site that shows an example of pointallism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pointillism

I can do it, but I lack patience:(

No matter what you make in art you are essentially making tons of little marks. When you draw you make little tiny marks where the pencil hits the high points of the paper's tooth. Abstractly, the only difference with pointalism is that you are controlling dots individually instead of in groups.
-
I know this caricaturist (Bahar Movahed) who draws her caricatures using dots. Here are some of her drawings:
-
any picture can be made with dots.
-
I can make any picture with dots. Look up halftone, it is all dots.
-
have you ever heard of georges seurat. he made amazing painting where it was just dots but created an image that looked painted.
-
Its called pointalism and this is something I did just using "dots."
-
Anything. What is a computer monitor after all? Just a bunch of dots.
