I have never been in this situation so I am not an expert, but I have read that It will be ok for them to stay together while they are pregnant but when they actually give birth there is a risk that they will disterb each others babies and even attack them. When were they mated? I have read of sisters from the same litter giving birth ob the same day and they shared a nest even! thats remarkable really! But to be on the safe side if I was in your position then I would separate them. People can give you all the advice in the world but you never can really be sure that they will accept each others babies can you?

It is never okay to keep any two rabbits together unless both have been spayed or neutered. Rabbits will fight and could severely hurt each other. And for sure if there are young kits, the kits could get killed. Rabbits need their own space. They are territorial and do not live together in the wild. They live alone and see each other briefly when they graze and eat. If they get too close, they may fight. You should separate your rabbits as soon as possible and keep them apart. They may not surrogate their babies and instead they cold kill them as strangers in their own nest. Plus a doe needs plenty of room in her cage. Two nest boxes will just take up too much room in one cage. And there is no way for you to track their health and who is a good mother and who isn't. Too risky,

When I was a little girl I had 2 girl rabbits and a boy in the same cage. I had many babies born and the babies usually live. But then I didn't know anything about separating them. After a few sets of babies were born we began to take the male out when it was close to time for the babies to be born because we found out he would kill them. I never had any trouble from keeping the two females together though.
