I have a 5year old and a 2 year old who are the best of friends. What should I do if (god forbid) one of them passes away? Will the other one die as well? Should I get a new bunny?

They are usually fine, though they may miss the company. But rabbits don't usually form long attachments as it's almost like they know they aren't meant to live long in the wilds. A new friend, with some care, could be just the thing to cheer them up.Or you could get that third bunny before it happens and have them near each other and then when the time comes, bond them and house them together.
