  • I am currently prescribed Suboxone. It makes you feel 10 times better than being in withdrawal. Suboxone - which is made of Bubrenorphine is actually a type of opiate so it takes almost all of the withdrawal away and kills the cravings. I've been on it for 6 months and haven't touched Oxy since!
  • im on suboxone also and works wonderful. I feel normal again and can live a normal life. No withdrawals.
  • Suboxone will give you much worse withdrawal then regular opiates, though so be very careful. I have been through both and tell you I would much rather withdrawal from morphine than suboxone. I'm pretty sure it is because the half life of subs is like 48 hours and once you've had it in your system the withdrawal takes a lot longer.
  • suboxone takes away all opiate withdrawl symptoms. it is better than methadone because it is a lot easier to deotox from once the opiate addiction is over. suboxone has synthetic adrenaline which stops the brain from processing the affects of opiate use. if you don't want that you can go with subutex which is the same without the adrenaline. either one are good, but like opiate use; if you are too high of a daily dose, then you will still get the 'nods'.
