One day. Don't have to be back until Monday....I'm an attorney

I'm known in the world of world intellectuals as Sozhenitsyn The Second. After the Soviet Union has been toppled down I can write the ballads of liberal Economy and Global Democracy freely without facing with any risque of "going to court"! Bless Prof.Mes

I have never been

A long time...divorce court! :(
-
Not since May 8, 2006.
-
Not since the class went to observe in High School as an assignment, so about 20 years ago:)
-
3 years and counting (knocks on wood)
-
As of this date, it has been three months and four days since the last time I had to go to court. That was the last time I had to show up to fulfill a summon for jury duty. (That is the only reason for which I have ever HAD to go to court.)
-
Just over a year. I had to defend traffic tickets on a regular basis.

October 2006. Long story short, I was on a lease...I moved out after the 12 month lease was up. The lease was SUPPOSED to have been re-written and I should have been taken off...but, that never happened. It was my fault for not confirming it with the landlord. But, my roommate stayed in the house after I moved out and then stopped paying rent and got evicted. I ended up having to go to court for the non-payed rent. :(

Four months ago for jury duty.

April 8. I'm fighting a traffic ticket, but every time I've been there for the trial the DA isn't ready. I have to go again on May 13. If the DA tries to postpone it again, I am going to request the judge dismiss the ticket due to lack of a speedy trial! How can they possibly not be ready, when a layperson such as myself is prepared to defend myself, even when I have a fulltime job doing something else, but prosecuting is the DA's ONLY job, but isn't prepared?? They've had 4 months to get ready, but maybe they think if I keep getting delayed I'll just give up and pay the ticket. They don't know me! I'll fight for anything if know I'm right.

It's been about 8 years!
-
About 4 years, and it was because I was suing someone. I've never been arrested or charged with a crime. I'm way too smart to get caught.
-
i went once it was about a year ago. I just stood in line only to go home and pay for a ticket. What a drag
-
As long as I've been alive...
-
A little over a week (I had jury duty, but was dismissed at lunchtime because all of the day's cases either settled or pled).
-
Well, I never HAD to go to court at all. Somehow, I've never been called for jury duty except when I was away at college and they just let me off instead of rescheduling. And the two other trips I've had one was as a police witness, and the other was contesting a traffic ticket I got for going 68 in a 65 zone in an unmarked work zone...
-
never been in court .. thank god heh
-
Less than a year ago~When I signed guardianship papers for my neice and nephew.
-
Technically, I've never been to court on my own accord. As in, I've never been taken to court or taken anyone. But I did get called to jury duty. That was about 3 months ago.
-
Two years ago I was given a ticket for riding my bicycle the wrong way on a one way street. I contested it. The DA decided she really didn't want to proceed, so it went away...
-
