I'm going to Amsterdam Wend. 5/28/08. I 'll get there night and i don't wanna rent a room 'cause early in the morning i 'm leaving by train. Is there anything 24h open (coffeeshop, bar, kfc etc)? If not, can i just stay &take a nap at the train station?

Hotel Mercure Schiphol Terminal’s offers the passenger a private shower room. All the private shower rooms are provided with their own toilet and hairdryer. There are pancake houses open 24 hours. The best one I found (excuse the directions) is when you walk out of the train station, turn left and head toward the red light district. There is a main street, I cannot recall the name of. But just ask someone where to find the best pancake house. They are great. You walk into a shop and basically you get a huge crepe with anything you want on it. Have one, and by the time you are done, you can head back to the train station full and happy. If you are in a sweets mood, I recommend bananas and powdered sugar. If in a savory mood, tomato and basil. YUM!!!!! They are sooooo good.
