All time favorite, nitro-methane and burning rubber. If you have ever stood near a top fuel dragster when it does it's burnout, you would never have to ask why. :) Edit: God I love getting rated down on OLD answers. F**k off if you don't like my opinion, but that IS what the question asked for.

Well, answering my own question... Aside from my Grandma's linen basket... I like the smells of plah-doh and crayons because they bring me back to when I was a little kid. I like the smell of the woods after a cool rain. I love the smell of fresh coffee brewing... I always seem to find myself slowing down around the teachers lounge at school because the smell just wafts out of there. And I agree with Auntie Em and Ms. Anonymous because babies smell lovely.

Orange blossoms. Every time I smell orange blossoms, it reminds me of cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway just north of Monterey, California. It was in February of 1993, I was driving a Ford Mustang convertible and the sun was just rising over the mountains to my left. I drove into a valley that was completely scented by a grove of orange trees in bloom. Now, every time I smell orange blossoms, it transports me right back to that time. (I guess that the scent is also memorable because of that summer in February thing...http://www.answerbag.com/a_view.php/92494)
