The fact that Arianism (which I've never heard of before) was rejected because of it's lack of differentation to Judaism would indicate the creators of Arianism must not have know much about Judaism to begin with.
  • Christianity is named after Christ. Arianism is named after Arius, who incorrectly taught that Jesus (before he became man) had been created by God the Father and though still a divine being, was therefore inferior to the Father. This is quite different from Judaism. Jews thought Jesus was just a regular human being who blasphemed by claiming to be God's Son and was consequently executed for it.
