  • I don't know that it is said by anyone other than the enimies of our religion. I have known women with pretty low self-esteem, but I would say that most of the women that I have know in the Church have a pretty healthy self-esteem. Despite what others would have you believe, we don't think that women are less than men. We do acknowledge that men and women are different. The difference do dictate somewhat different rolls for each in society. However, this does not mean that one sex's roll in society is any less important than that of the other. Men and women are to be equal partners in building up the society.
