If your disorder conflicts with your job/every-day life, you can apply for disability which will cover the cost of your medication, (in Canada). I can only assume it's similar if not the same in USA...and if you're European or French, you'll get an even better deal. :)

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I've been on meds for 7 yrs. Right now I have no insurance at all. I get samples through my government provided doctor here in the US, and I buy cheap generics from Wal-Mart. They have some generics for $4 for a month's supply. You can get a list from any Wal Mart pharmacy. Look in your local phone book in the government pages and find the Dept. of Health. Check for any numer that says anything about mental health. Call whatever you find or call a general number and ask for assistance. Try Google too. Just type in "mental health" and the name of your city and state and see what comes up. Call the local hospital and ask for resources for drug assistance. I hope you get help soon.

You can also go to the manufacturer's website that makes your medication. All of these drug companies have programs to help. I get my meds for free. It's a real short application and you just have your dr. sign it (it's basically a prescription). You send in the required info, usually paystubs or tax info and if you qualify they will let you know. It's extremely simple but many people don't know about it. Just google your meds and it should pop up the manufacturer.

I heard of St. John's Wart. Try the healthfood store or GNC. I hope I helped a little bit.
