  • Train...bad word. You must really love yourself. Fist make sure you take care of yourself. Shower often, brush your teeth, get dressed, brush your hair (if you are a chick) buy makeup and get your nails done (even if you just paint them yourself). That takes care of how you physically see yourself every day. Now, you need to look in the mirror every day and tell yourself 3 wonderful things about you. Pick different things each day and write them down. Don't repeat anything for 3 days. And once you feel that you have hit a plateau find 3 new things that are good about you. Try to help out in the community. Hold the door open, put a few pennies in the jar at the store. All these things will help you see yourself as the wonderful person you are.
  • Baby steps darlin' Don't try to change everything at once it's too drastic, it'll make you want to run back to the shelter and comfort of old familiar ways. Take it all one day and one step at a time. Map out where you want to be and the steps you need to take to get there. When you reach that point(it was sooner for me about half way through) you'll realize that you started loving yourself and didn't even notice along the way. Don't let people tell you how quickly you need to go. Do it in your own time and it will have a better chance of working out.
