Yes I have. And I have also been fortunate enough to allow someone to lean on me. Maybe I was lucky - but good friends will help when they can and ask when they need. And I really feel, what... honored to have been on both sides.

Yep. It was a situation where I'd counted what I had and was going to run out of food about three days before my next paycheck, and at the time I felt really awful about it because I wanted things to be more equal between us. But he never said anything about it, just asked if i wanted him to take me out to dinner, did I want to come over for dinner, did I want to take these leftovers home-- subtly extending my food supply until I got paid. We'd been dating for a few months already, but I fell head over heels for him for being so caring and not embarrassing me about it.
