What about the "A Bomb"
-
Both.(u can also say A-bomb.)
-
atomic bomb
-
Either is correct. It all depends on where you live and your age.

Although both terms are used, I believe "Atomic" is more proper, given that it refers to the properties of the atoms and the process of nuclear fission and/or fusion and not the atom itself. Interesting info here: http://www.howstuffworks.com/nuclear-bomb.htm

It doesn't matter.

In the English language, almost any word can become an adjective if you place it before a noun--especially if it is also after an article. Although "atomic" is always an adjective, "atom" can become an adjective in the phrase "the atom bomb" or "an atom bomb." Normally it is not an adjective--you would never speak about the atom weight of uranium, or the atom number of thorium. English likes to shorten words and make them more forceful, though, and "atom bomb" sounds more forceful than "atomic bomb."

i think atomic is better suited since its not just one atom its a group of atoms that speard ATOMIC energy
