I think that having sex before age 17 or 18 (depending on when you graduate high school) is sensless- there is no way you would be able to handle the negetives (if they happened) and I have a hard time believing that I would have been able to carry out an emotionaly stable relationship, especially to that level of intamacy before age 17 or 18 (and I/and many others condier myself very mature for my age.) Just a personal opinion though.
