For all intents and purposes, it is not likely that you are pregnant. However, since the only 100% sure-fire way to prevent pregnancy is abstinence, anything is possible.
For example, even if a woman has her tubes tied, pregnancy is still possible though highly unlikely. I can vouch for this since I have had this procedure done. My surgeon made certain he warned me numerous times to make an appointment ASAP if I ever suspected I was pregnant after the procedure.
If you are concerned or feel that you might be pregnant, I would highly recommend you make an appointment with your Dr.
The good news is, it seems that you are not relying on one method of birth control which is never a bad idea if you absolutely do not want to get pregnant.
Hope this helps.
Sure. You can get pregnant while on the pill.
your man must have been going to town to break a condom...haha......i would not really worry.......stopping the pill will give your body time to adjust.......ever heard of the NUVA ring???? i have dated gal's on that......leave it in for three wks.....take it out.........then, put a new one in that fourth week.......glad you are being safe, tho....take care.......Brian.....

You're reading While having intercourse, the condom broke. I am 40+ years old with an irregular menstual cycle, and my last mensus ended 9 days prior. I stopped using birth control pills 1 week before my last mensus. Could I be pregnant?

Good answer. I know a couple who were both "fixed" and still got pregnant.
