  • Ingenuity, willingness to work hard, willingness to work together to achieve a common goal. They were tougher, smarter (we let our "machines" do our thinking for us these days), more dedicated and determined in those days..these days, if our machines fail us, we wait for them to get repaired before we would bust our buns! :(
  • Not we...They survived:)As for them, that was the best they got and they were happy about that. And thats how it has been going on ever.
  • Society develops false dependancies on current technologies. Having them taken away from us would hinder our survivability but would not diminish it. We are a resilient and resourceful race.
  • Quite nicely I'm sure. From the time I was a child until now there are many things we didn't have and got along quite well without. I do remember moving more and sitting less, as everyone did. We were much healthier for sure!
  • 1) a poplulation 5% of a what it is today 2) a lot of back-breaking work, 6 day work-weeks and 12+hour workdays 3) 90-95% of the population in agriculture/food production - with crop failure about 1 year in 3 and all out famine on average 1 per 12 years. 4) high infant mortality rates, high pregnancy/childbirth mortality rates, and a good old-fashioned short lifespan! • Easy. You just live your life. if you start out that way you don't even notice that it's not there.
  • We weren't born using these things. People even right now in the majority live without high tech anything. I'd even bet that 2 billion people don't need it. I know many people in the USA that don't live with it. In fact in the 70s my husband and I didn't even have electricity, wanting to live a simpler life. You CAN live without. It's easy. And if you were born in some other country than the one you live in, you could be living without those things as well. And slowing down everything would actually get rid of most of th reasons we think we NEED these things.
  • Amazing isn't it. Wow, actually living without modern day technology. Truth is, we lived life and survived just fine.
  • It's quite astonishing. Even today we can survive without these technologies. Just thinkover. They used to walk long distance but now we have vehicles. This gave them our Ancestors didn't watch TV or surf the net to seek entertainment instead they had street play and chats. This united them. But now we don't do such activities.
