Do you ask genuine questions on AB or do you just try to be popular?

No i don't ask questions to get popular. I could care less who likes me and who doesn't. I ask Some serious questions. My other questions are just to be funny or put a smile on other people's faces

My questions are usually knowledge based and factual so they are certainly not attempts at popularity.

I just ask whatever interests me. I don't try to be popular here and I don't try to be popular offline. By trying to be popular you just invite people into your life you don't really want to spend time with. If you're just yourself, you meet people with the same interests, sensibilities, etc.

If I was trying to be "popular", I've obviously FAILED, LoL! Naw, I ask to to find out if anyone knows or is similar in answers to mine. No other motives, whatsoever.

I ask questions for informaiton, or sometimes to try to be funny or entertaining. I guess you could think of the latter two as an attempt at popularity. I don't ask questions thinking about how many points they will get, which would be the real measure of popularity. I guess I never thought about it because I am just here for the fun and community.

Popularity was never my strong suit. When I ask questions, they fall in the following categories: Informational Curiosity Interesting (at least I hope people find it interesting)

Haha, Seeing as I have posted like ten questions already and have had only three answers, I assume they aren't the most popular of questions.

I was never good at being popular and I don't like false friends. If I have a friend it's because I trust that person. Currently, it is rare for me to ask any questions at all as I only do it when I find myself in the need of it. :P

I just ask whatever pops into my head, really. I'm not trying to be popular, I'm not trying to impress anyone. I'm just asking because it's on my mind at the time. :)
