I like Ben-Hur the most. I'm sorry he is gone. I don't agree with his politics, but I do like his movies.

I always think of Charlton Heston as Moses in The Ten Commandments, so I guess that's my favorite. I really never have thought he was a terribly good actor, though.

Ben Hur, and though this is a repeat answer, it was classic Charlton Heston.

I really loved him in El Cid, but most anything he did was fantastic. eg The AGony and the Ecstasy, Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments, Omega Man, Planet of the Apes. Even Soylent Green.

If you guys like Ben Hur, then you'd love him in El Cid. Better movie, better Charlton. Another one where he was brilliant, but miscast was Touch of Evil. Great films, great actor.

I'd have to say "The Ten Commandments". "Planet of the Apes" also comes to mind ... "Take your stinkin' paws off me you damn dirty ape!" I was sorry to hear of his passing.

I am sorry to note that Charlton Heston, one of the finest actors I have ever known had passed away. At 84 he had lived to a ripe & fruitful age, we shouldn't be too sad. Death must come to all people. For me, his all great are The Ten Commandment and Benhur.
