No number of years would make me stop eating meat.

It doesn't matter. I had a bumper sticker, "Meat is Yummy" If I quit meat life would SEEM longer. "Gimme the carnivore special, man! TCB."

If it added years to my life I would probably eat a lot more meat than I do now.

I wouldn't stop..not eating meat probably does add a few years to your life..however, living long isn't the thing I'm after..I prefer to live well! :)
