  • $75 mirror
    $75 for mauve lipstick
$100 for a hanky panky hair wipe (equivalent to an individual wrapped alcohol wipe, but for keeping hair shiny and smelling fresh--great after a night out at a smoky bar)
    $25 x's 3 and 1--3 safety pins and one sewing needle = $100
    $30 x's 4 bandaids = $120
    $50 x's 3 for photo cards and IDs = $150
    ____________
    Grand Total $620

Hope I did that right :)

Let's Make a Deal! was a great game in and around the 70's. Hosted by Monty Hall, the game would always end with (while the credits rolled) the host offering sums of money for obscure items that specific people in the audience might have on their person. Audience members would surely pack their large purses or bags for the occasion, but let's find out exactly how much money you could take home with the things you typically carry on your person (including wallets, bags, etc.)

Here's how it will work, I'll give a list of items and their values, you tally up how much money you make! Unless I say otherwise, you can collect multiple amounts of cash if you have multiples of the object in question. Most objects will have a maximum dollar amount you can't get more.

No cheating! Everything you would typically carry with you, or in the case of money, what you are carrying on you right now. Post your dollar amount, and if you want, break it down, or just tell us what obscure items you had! Have fun!

    Here we go!

$20 for each paper clip up to $200!
$100 for any $2 bill up to $500!
$5 for a stick of gum up to $50!
$25 for a safety pin or sewing needle up to $250!
    $75 for a toothpick up to $300!
$50 for each photo ID (includes credit cards w/ your photo!) you have besides a Driver's License up to $250!
$100 for a individually wrapped alcohol wipe (such as given to you at a restaurant) up to $300!
    $30 for a band-aid up to $150!
$150 for a deck of cards up to $300!
$5 for your business card up to $50!
$25 for someone else's business card up to $250!
$75 for any kind of mirror up to $150!
$40 for a rubber band up to $200!
$150 for a bicentennial quarter up to $750!
$75 for a lipstick that is NOT any shade of red up to $300!
$100 for any paper currency on your person with a series year of earlier than 1980 ... up to $500!
