  • i wouldnt keep them in for over 24 hours. yes i know they have extended wear versions.. but your eyes need to rest and refresh themselves. too much extended wear can cause eye problems and diseases
  • For as long as your optician told you to keep them in never wear them over the stated time as you could damage your eyes. They say a stated time for a reason you should stick to it.
  • It all depends on what kind of contact lenses you have, like acuvue oasys, o2 optix you can wear it long, if one day contact lenses, you should wear it for only one day. You can find some information from: http://www.lenscompare.com/1-day-acuvue-contact-lenses-p-184.html http://www.lenscompare.com/acuvue-oasys-contact-lenses-p-162.html http://www.lenscompare.com/o2-optix-contact-lenses-p-262.html
  • I usually keep them in from around 8:30 AM to around 1:30 AM.... so suffice it to say, as long as you are cleaning them off with solution before use, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I highly recommend the Acuvue Oasys lenses... they are really good.
  • As expensive as they are, I would keep it. Check your lens solution container, but a lens can usually stay in an unopened container for about 30 days.
  • if one day contact lenses, you should wear it for only one day. And it depends on what kind of contact lenses you have. also you can check all types of daily disposable Contact Lenses at http://lensrate.com/index.cfm?weartypeId=5 and http://lensrate.com/index.cfm?focus-dailies-contact-lenses=216
  • you can wear them all day long but I'd rather u don't sleep with the lenses on and I recommand you use the eye drops from time to another to keep your eyes wet and safe.
  • I believe that you definitly shouldn't wear them for any longer than 24 hours. Within this time your eyes will be becoming dry which can make your contact lenses start to become uncomforable. I definitly would not wear them overnight either. I realize that some are made that ARE safe to wear overnight, but most aren't designed for that so once again I don't recommend than you wear them any longer than 24 hours. I would check with an eye doctor to be certain. Have a blessed day!
  • As long as you feel comfortable. If you start to feel strain or dryness then that may be a sign that they want some fresh air
  • As directed by your Optometrist. And it also depends on what type of contacts they are. Been you should never wear them to bed or wear the same pair for more than 30 days.
