  • This is really hard to answer. You'd think that a super group of Joe Satriani, Jaco Pastorius and Buddy Rich would be astonishing but in truth they seldom work. Look at Blind Faith - superb individual musicians but pretty poor band. Many people would lay claim to the Beatles being the best rock band in history (and they'd have a point) yet none of the Beatles would make my top ten list in any proficiency list. Sometimes it comes together and just clicks.
  • They asked this question on Planet Rock radio where u would vote for each individual member and when the polls came in from all round the country for guitar: Jimmy Page for lead vocals: Robert Plant for bass : John Paul Jones and of course for drums: John Bonham haha it just shows you that Led Zep just cant be topped and i agree with every one
  • Vocals- Robert Plant Guitar- Steve Vai Bass- Cliff Burton Drums- Lars Ulrich Great individuals, but I think they'd make a terrible band.
