I just heard that Mugabe is going to be standing aside. That's good and bad news. It's kind of like someone setting the house on fire and then walking away. The house is still burning! I foresee two possibilities: Government (a PROPER government) is restored, and the hard road to recovery is taken. A few hiccups here and there, but more stable. The second, more terrifying option is continuing civil strife, leading to faction style rulings, bitter fighting and chaos and the overall collapse of Zimbabwe as a Nation.

A bloody civil war perhaps with or without UN interference and a lot of turmoil unless the UN steps in to stabilize the country and depose the dictator there and an occupation force is activated to keep the peace. Darfur needs help too so these are two real hot spots in Africa that need serious help.

There will be much death and destruction, it will be laid waste and lie in ruin, cursed to hell. Only aid from Somalia can save it now.
