not really, prices usually depend on the manufacturer. Check websites such as www.musiciansfriend.com to compare prices on guitars and other musical equipment

The styles of guitars really does not place a value on it. its complex and i'll try to give a definition. name brand, year the guitar was made and by whom, where it was made, all have contributing factors on the value of a guitar. In l958, a friend of mine, for his birthday, was give a Gibson-Les Paul, jr. electric guitar. my friend did not know how to play and never did learn. he kept this guitar, brand new in the case, for many years. one day he saw a newspaper ad, asking to buy a guitar just like his. still brand new and in the case, his guitar would have sold for $12,500.00. So you see, its not really the style, but rather the contributing factors of a guitar, that sets its value. john
