Bridges should be glued on. Titebond 2 is a water (humidity) resistant glue that is awesome for guitar and uke use.

Your shouldn't attach it with glue you can find a music store that sells like Cellos and Violins they have bridges too so they can probably do something.

If all other glues fail, try the very best on the market for everything....Gorilla Glue. I glued solid brass house numbers on a brick wall. not even superman can remove these numbers. its the best i have ever used.
