  • Probably because they were in denial. To me it seems that most Americans want to be European.
  • It's a common trolling theme: US vs Europe, it goes back and forth. The reason it continues going is become one side gets so nationalistic and then starts poking fun at the other side, who then get so nationalistic that they defend themselves by attacking the other side. It's what happens when you give kids a venue with no recourse. If this question gets popular, I wouldn't be surprised if you see someone to reply to Justin's remark saying how much Europe sucks. Here's my favorite picture regarding the subject:
  • i dont see why america hates us since we are thier lap-dogs.
  • I would take anything you hear over a game chat with a grain of salt. Most of them were probably no older than 16. If they were older than that, they're morons and idiots and you shouldn't listen to anything they have to say about the world. If I listened to the things I heard over Counterstrike In-game chat, I'd have killed myself at this point.
  • I really don't know. If they ARE very young, then it would be immature, possibly wanting to be able to talk about mature subjects such as politics, but evidently not having the capacity to understand it. Interestingly, if any of those people joins the Armed forces, they will almost certainly be serving alongside British personnel in a combat zone, and at that point, they will discover for all it's flaws, Britain does have one of, if not THE most professional, capable, and versatile armed forces in the world. And If they serve alongside the Royal Marines, they'll discover what it is like to be almost entirely self-sufficient, rather than equipment and supply sufficient! I don't have many negatives on the US, but I can't see what problems a US person would have with Britain? Sure, we have alot of problems, but the majority of them are domestic, and don't affect other countries!
