It's stinky?

For me, yes. I live in a second-floor apartment. Lugging bags of garbage down a flight of stairs and around the building SUCKS!

Oddly, yes- we're on the ground floor, and weather is finally fine. Yet my wife never seems to take out the garbage, and I loath doing it. Probably because by the time we think to do it the garbage is overflowing, and it's a major undertaking to take it out!

It's such a long way down from the trash chute on my floor down to the bottom. I am always afraid of throwing away something important. I've done it before.

My 13 year old thinks it is...because it's a chore that has to be done regularly. He's 13...they don't want to do anything that doesn't involve a video game or telephone.

Its not unpopular for me. I get to check out other people's garbage. Then I get to bring their treasures home. You can do alot with an empty gallon Gallo wine bottle.

It's worse than amputation. Because it's the garbage, need we say more here? It has a stigma associated with it that causes traumatic distress to the appointed person who has to perform this chore.

It's such an easy chore, yet my teenage boys argue about doing it every time I ask. Aargh!
