Pull the cable/wire to the horn or alarm

Ok, hopefully people read what's here first. I have pulled the battery for the night, but this cannot happen all the time so I need a permanent solution. I need to know the "proper" way to turn off the alarm, not just disable it. Yes. I know how to permanently disable it by grounding a particular wire, but I don't want the permanent disable.

I would recommend NOT disconnecting the batter, but pull the fuse in the alarm circuit. That will silence it until you can find out why it is firing off. If it does it when there is NO one around, it may be two way radios turning it on. Look around your neighborhood for towers with big antennas on them. It may be ANY type two way radio doing it, such a police or even a cell phone. I would contact the maker of the alarm and talk with them about your problem. Also read the manual. Also Most alarm installers set the motion detector to a ridiculously sensitive degree. Just have some one who is knowledgeable set it to where you don't have the alarm going off when a truck goes by or a cat jumps on your hood. lol

Does your alarm set with a device hanging from your key chain? I am thinking it does. this device is like that of a smoke alarm and will go off if the battery in the device is low. Try changing the battery in the device. It could also be possible the device itself has become faulty. If this does not help you can call the dealership and explain to them what is happening and they can give you better suggestions. But I do believe your panic alarm is stuck.
