When you help someone clean you get a chance to really visit with them, and it's kinda fun(Depends ON what your Cleaning) Whem you or cleaning by yourself it becomes a chore:)

Part of it is curiosity. You know what's scattered around your room, but you don't what what's scattered around the room of the person you help. Part of it is it's always more fun to do something for someone else than it is to do it yourself. Part of it is that while you're helping, you're talking, thus spending time with the one you're helping. Part of it is that unless you're a "neat-freak", you tend to have "organized messes". You KNOW where almost everything you need and want is in YOUR room, and you know that when you clean it up, you'll have to remember where you put it. And, part of it is when we clean others' places, we tend to do it well, but we don't get into EVERYTHING. When we clean our own spaces, we tend to "micro-clean" - which makes it take MUCH longer.
