  • It depends on the curriculum and the neighborhood.
  • I don't think either is better. Private schools have their advantages but there is drugs, alcohol, sex and violence no matter where you go. Even though you don't know or hear about it doesn't mean it isn't there. If you find a good school district then it doesn't matter either way in my opinion.
  • I would say public, you get more experience of the world, and I have had a great time at school. I'm doing pretty good, predicted A-A* in me gcse's for a few things, but mostly my friends are the most wonderful and amazing people, and without public school I would not know them
  • I think that public is better because they have more of a chance to make friends. and It gives them more oppertunities in sports.
  • Well. I would recomend Private for Pre-K and Kindergarten. But when 1st grade starts I would go public school all the way. Depends who you are though. Most private schools have mannered "pleasently Plump" kids. I prefer Public school now. My friends are alot easier to have fun with.
  • a private your child gets the right teaching care and most teachers they teach well belive me.I'v have gone to a private school for 6 years
  • I personally thin ka private school is better. You get more one to one with the teacher if you don't understand something...Theres also less bullying, violence, that kind of thing.
  • Public school -- more diversity.
  • Public schools, you learn more about life there then in private schools. In private schools which not everyone can afford all you learn is your 3 r's.
  • Private School is BETTER if you can afford it. I am a product of both private and public and all my kids go to Private school. One...they started in PreK (which is like Kindergarten/1st grade in the Public schools) A good solid learning foundation. Two...they are academically challenged thus testing higher when taking standardized tests and ranking in the higher numbers. Three...traditionally have more homework. Fourth...all my kids participate in sports from our city so they have kids from everywhere to interact w/ who all share their love of whatever sport. Diversity is high in that realm. Public Schools typically teach to the slower learner...I had an easier time in Public school. yawn... Also, NOT ALL PRIVATE SCHOOLS are ACCREDITED or created equal. My kids' school tests higher in National Standardized Tests. Something to consider...
  • -Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school Albert Einstein In the long run, it matters who the student has become.
