I never heard of him until now. I apologize for my ignorance here. If he's important or something, you'd think that the news would have made me aware of him. From what I gathered from other people's answers, is that he's the Prime Minister of Canada. I am very confused by the Canadian Political process whereas I am quite astute about my US process. I find that bizzare don't you.

He's a goddamn pocket dog wanting Canada to regress back to fifty years ago. He probably phones Bush every night to wish him a good sleep. Or so I would say, but whatever ruler we get, everyone complains and does nothing. Still, Jean Chretien maybe didn't do anything, but that's usually the best you can hope for, ha. Vive le Canada! *Raises fist.* Well Harper did lower taxes as promised. Now a coffee at Tim Horton's costs 1.74 instead of 1.75, hurray!

He is the Prime Minister of Canada. He is the Conservative party leader. He has a master's degree in econmics. His riding is in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Yes. I'm also an American. My late husband was Canadian. We were both political junkies. Between two countries, we thrived. BTW, my president has never been W. He just was the guy who cheated his way in and made a fool of himself. As of Jan. 20th, I won't have to be embarrassed about being an American any more.
