  • wow.. i left my periodic table next to my slide rule.. in 1980 here we go... im sure theres something bigger though Ununoctium /un.unˈokt.ium/, also known as eka-radon or element 118, is the temporary IUPAC name[9] for the transactinide element having the atomic number 118 and temporary element symbol Uuo. On the periodic table of the elements, it is a p-block element and the last one of the 7th period. Ununoctium is currently the only synthetic member of group 18 and has the highest atomic number and highest atomic mass assigned to a discovered element.
  • Feynman said some things which imply (to me) that all particles, and combinations of particles, are equally "elementary." So a beach ball or planet could be considered a particle. An isolated particle, say an electron in deep space, could be planet-sized because of position uncertainty ... I guess ... except that light from stars might interact with it and ruin it. I don't know that an elementary particle really has a radius, or a size.
