I reduced my bills, cut out things that I don't have to have. The phone company in my state has a program called lifeline and helps low income families by reducing the phone bill by a certain amount to be able to afford having a landline. I buy my meat in bulk because it's cheaper and plan on planting a garden this summer to help ease the cost of veggies since all of the gas hikes are affecting us as consumers in the grocery store as well. It is hard to save money right now, if you have the space, a roommate helps too.

you need to cut cost on small expenses and the one that you think is a luxury. buy only those things that of neccescities. It is hard to control our urge to shop but at a difficult time we need to have more patience
