What reasons do you consider that someone's question or answer warrants negative points?

G'day Justin, Thank you for your question. I generally only award negative points when someone has been gratuitously offensive or given generally harmful advice. I have probably given negative ratings on a handful of occasions. I generally give points to all people who answer my questions or who ask questions that I answer. Regards

Questions: offensiveness. Answers: offensiveness and being factually severely wrong.

Nothing. If I think I a question or answer warrants a downrate, I would probably flag it.
