  • 8. I definitely whistle happy tunes in a blockage, but if it's summer, and the milk in the back is turning sour, and you try to push in front of me... well, I'd had no choice but to mutter a curse word or two. "Bugger!". For the most part I deal with stress by not being stressed.
  • I have a few rules that help in these situations. One is, don't stress over something I cannot change, such as traffic. I do not go to the grocery store when I am in a hurry, it is counterproductive for me on so many levels! I would rate myself an 8 or 9 in terms of patience. I work with children and the elderly, and patience is a HUGE part of my job and life!
  • It takes a lot for me to lose my patience. I would venture to bet that my s/o would say that in 20 years he has never seen me lose mine (or even misplace it).I'd rate myself a 10.
  • An 8 or a 9 definately. Traffic doesn't bother me at all, but I'm not much of a whistler. I am the exact change person infront of you at Safeway!!!! Sorry!! (But I don't go into the 10 items or less line with 15 items!!!!)
  • A 7 for me. It depends on the mood I suppose.
  • I'm pretty patient, especially in the bigger sense, like waiting months or years to achieve some kind of life goal. As for daily things like traffic and grocery stores, I'm also very patient because it accomplishes absolutely NOTHING to get all antsy and pissy when things aren't moving fast enough. Getting angry and impatient not only doesn't help, it's usually part of the reason why the traffic (or long grocery line, or whatever) is so backed up in the first place. Everyone thinks their time is more important than everyone else's, but I say get over yourself and just enjoy the ride. I find as long as I have plenty of cigarettes and music, I can endure the world's longest traffic jam with no problem at all. The only time I get impatient is when my own time is severely constrained, like trying to get my license renewed at the DMV during a lunch break or something to that effect. Still doesn't help anything, though.
  • On average, a solid 8, I hate traffic, butI can patiently sit there for ten hours gluing together 1/32 x 1/32 sticks for a model that I'm making, and that's usually ater seeral days with completely insufficient sleep.
  • Anywhere between a 2 and an 8, depending what I have to deal with. Usually, it's 5.
  • About a 9
  • I would be about a 5. I am usually quite patient, but some people seriously annoy the piss out of me and i cant help but think 'Dear God, be quiet and leave' Also, i make exact change places D: I cant help it, it pleases me to make exact change.
  • I do consider myself a patient person so I will say 9, but due to PMS in the middle of the month I then slip back to, maybe a 7.
  • I am a very patient person. Therefore, I consider myself a 10 on this scale...at least most of the time.
  • I think Im an 8 or 9. I dont let things get to me too much. Unless someone is just being really rude and knows it. Good question. +6
  • Paitence itself = 2 or 1. Apathy at the fact = 10. balls to actually act on my impatience = 0. It kind of balances itself out.
  • It depends on if I am in a hurry or not. If I'm not in a hurry, I'm pretty patient. If I'm in a hurry, I'm VERY impatient, so I'd have to give myself about a 9 then.
