Question

I have blonde hair and blue eyes, as does every member of my family. My biracial (African American and Caucasian) son has blonde hair and green eyes. Can I conclude that someone on his father's side is something other than African American?

Not necessarily because genetics is an odd thing!

Sometimes we receive traits from distanc relatives and ancestors, too!

More than likely yes, however I have noticed that lots of Caucasian children are born with blonde hair only to have it began to get darker as they grow older. the green eyes are a mix of the blue and brown genes, since both are dominate genes, they produce green, however they also sometimes will change to a hazel as the child grows older. Most African Americans have a mix of Caucasian, Native American, and African racial makeup. it is estimated that most African Americans are actually up to 50% Native American. I wish you and your family the best!

Genetics is weird so it's is hard to say yes or no with certantity. Both my parents are black but they both have caucasian on their side and ever since I turned 13 more and more blonde hair has been popping up all over my head, not to mention my hair is dark red and weirdly my eyes turned a shade of green when I was 15, I kid you not. So my point is genetics gets a lot more hectic as the generations pass by and with more and more interracial couples having kids the human ethnicities are getting mixed. Soon it'll be like drawing from a raffle as to what feature your child may have lol.
