  • only up to 600 feet high...
  • possibly but who is going to stand in one spot shooting at an aircraft
  • Lets put ti this way. Can you get off a shot, aimed correctly, at something flying at mach 2? How about when that aircraft is shooting either ATS missiles or it's own guns?
  • Yes they can but when shooting aircraft you have to lead the plane using tracers. that is the secret to the big bores is timing. Try to aim for the fuel cells, you will have to know the anatomy of the planes.
  • id rather not say in this forum
  • Yes, but you have to calculate really fast in your head how far in front of the plane to shoot so the bullet goes up the pilot's ass when it gets there.
  • Realistically, the 50 only punches a half inch hole and aircraft are generally soft all over. Most shots will pass through an aircraft without hitting any vital components. A single 50 round penetrating a rotating turbine engine will likely cause it to fail. The best option is to fire a round into the engine while the plane is stationary on the tarmac.
